Question hopefully one of you guys can answer. Local guy is selling 2010+ 4Runner sliders and. I'm wanting to know if they will fit my regular cab tacoma. They are bolt on but was wondering if it would be possible to make them into weld ons or will the factory mounts bolt right up. Also maybe drill new holes into frame? Or is it worth it to just get new ones? I'm getting them for over 50% off so any ideas? Thx

If they are the right length I'm sure you could make them work. I doubt the bolts will work and drilling the frame probably wont work. I would make sure that none of the crossmembers are in the way as that would be difficult to get around. Any welder/fab shop should be able to make them work but it may cost more than getting the correct sliders for your truck.

If the bolts for the tacoma are within the square mount for the 4Runner, then will I just be able to drill into the existing ones?

Those are pretty sharp. What brand are they? I would think you would be fine to drill the slider mounts

brand is proline 4x4. they are like 700 powder coated and i am trying to get these for 325, and they are the perfect length for a reg cab (.5" shorter than my regular cab bolt on nerf bars). Just skeptical don't wanna dump the cash for nothing. Could they not be welded on in the condition they are in now?
