Will helper springs also improve body roll

Anyone with helper springs notice if they lessen body roll?

Id like to reduce it some... not anti sway bar amount but improve the handling and body roll. I don't drive fast or anything but notice its on the excessive side... for me anyway. I think I've read some say the 5100's help with it too. I don't have the sport or off road and don't mind the shocks that are on it right now so I dont think the 5100 price is warranted for me just yet (plus looking to get new tires soon).

I had an 04 Ram, 02 Tundra, 96 S10 and an 86 Toyota p/u and don't recall the body roll being like it is on this truck. My last two trucks were off road so I'm not afraid to stiffen the ride a bit.

I tow a boat, camp a lot, haul lumber and firewood so the springs would benefit me there. When I camp I do hit some light trails so an anti sway bar is out of the question.

My rear sway bar does not impede light to moderate off road performance. It made a significant improvement in the on road performance (stock Bilsteins, TRD Sport 4X4). I also have air bags installed that I use for leveling, when towing ( few hundred pounds tongue wt). For whatever it's worth.

5100's helped with body roll on mine a little bit, but Deaver add a leaf helped alot! AAL probably best and cheapest option. Or you could maybe try air shocks? I'm like you, i dont like alot of body roll.

The body roll and nose diving of my 2012 sr5 really got on my nerves this past year. I replaced the shocks with Icon parts and installed an add-a-leaf in the rear. It made an incredible improvement! I now feel much more stable and in control. It drives the way I like now. I would have done it sooner but I didnt want to replace shocks that werent broken. There are better than OEM suspension components on the market these days!

I solved the frontend issue with new coils that have larger circumpherence and thicker spring that were rated for an addition 275lbs of weight although i only have maybe an additional 60lbs of weight from accessories. Then put equally over rated struts. With the Deavers and 5100's in the back she rides like a Cadillac :)

Yes the helper springs will help with body roll. The tighter you make them, the firmer your spring pack will be, the less body roll you will have.

I'm back, got a little carried away reading taczillas build thread... Nice truck man!
Some really impressive set ups here, and seems I have more options to look at than I originally thought.
It doesn't sound like many have the helper springs here.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Air bags or helpers will decrease body roll but at the sacrifice of articulation. Thats not necessarily a horrible thing unless you wheel. I had RideRites on my '06 DCSB and it used to lift a back tire off the ground on certain high curbs or turning down a steep downhill driveway.
