Will I blow fuse with these LED back up lights?

I can't see Jack at night when I back up due to tinted shell window. Finally installing LED lights under my bumper and just splicing the positive wire to my back up bulbs and grounding it to the bumper.

But will the extra power drain blow my fuse?

If it does blow the fuse, where is the fuse located on a 1996 two wheel drive extra cab, and how many amps is it?

Also, what other things are ran off that same back up lights fuse?

Has anyone else done this, any advice would be appreciated.

LEDS use much less voltage/power so no will not pop fuse
if you wire those^^^ (correctly) you will have no issues

Agreed. If the 18W rating is right, that’s only 1.5A, which isn’t bad.

18W is 1.5 amps at 12V. I'd consider chances of blowing a fuse with those pretty low.

Thanks to everyone. I don't have a clue which fuse runs the back up lights, if you can send a photo where it is id appreciate it.

These old and crusty fuses are 28 years old now

I ran similar LED pods off of the reverse light wiring on both sides and had no problem with the fuse.

I did rip them off on the trail though lol

I saw those, but I only have a ball trailer hitch on my bumper, not one of those.

That's ok, regardless of where you mount them they should be good to go tapped into the reverse light wiring.

The light is a huge help in the dark :D
