    Hey guys, quick question..

I found a really good deal on some rims and tires. but the only problem is that the tires are 285-50-20.. And I have a 2005 taco TRD.. I know they will rub the fenders, but will they fit inside the fender wells. and how bad will they rub??

Also, would a 2" lift fix this!?

Quite honestly.. I dont know what backspacing is. ( im a newbie) but, the only thing the ad on craigslist.com says.. Chevy Silverado rims, 285-50-20. Doesnt say anything about backspacing or what not.. So how bad will the 285's rub on a non lifted TRD tacoma

I believe there will be significant rubbing. I have 285/70/17 on my taco supreme and they still rub. I trimmed the fenders and now they only rub when I make full turns but I do have a toytec 3" kit on.
