Will I need a brake line extension with Bilstein 5160 and Dakar heavy pack (EL095R)?

    Hello!

    2018 DCOR short-bed here.

I'll be getting Bilstein 5160's + heavy Dakars in the rear and 6112's in the front installed on Wednesday. One thing I haven't discussed with the shop is extended brake lines. Would you consider this a requirement for the setup I'm going with?

    Thanks :)

No. 5160's are all of like 1in longer than stock shocks, you will be fine.

The only issue you will have is the driver’s side parking brake cable bracket at full droop. I used a zip tie.

I got the same setup (and love it. 4wheelparts installed them and tested the flexing and said the extended lines weren’t needed.
