If it were only that simple! Anything economical is not cheap these days. For example I found 1998 Toyota Corolla with 250k miles that they wanted 5k for. In a year that's a $1,000 car at best.

I heard that Chryslers have electrical and sensor issues. My last experience with Ford was not great either. I had a 2014 Ford Escape EcoBoost. It was done at 145,000 miles. I grew up with Fords that would get 300K easy. I had to fix the same vacuum line twice on that escape. Had a radiator hose that cost 500 bucks to replace. The final straw was the timing chain and fuel pump going out. After that it was junk. I had a friend tell me that his company uses Ford for their Fleet and don't really have any issues even with the EcoBoost F-150. I think I'm going to stick with Toyota.

Doing some quick checks on cars.com doesn’t look very promising in the 200 miles around Boston. However, there are legit units sprinkled all across the USA in a variety of colors. If you are willing to travel, there are some nice loaded Offroads out there.

Thanks for checking. I did a pretty wide search. A lot of places refuse to sell to anyone that isn't local which how can I blame them. I'm just going to buy the truck and they'll never see me again. I've called around and unless you're willing to pay a lot over MSRP you pretty much have to get it from your local dealer. I might just wait around a little longer and see if I can get exactly what I want

I waited like three months for an OR with tech package back in July and got it end of sept from canobie lake Toyota. I moved to nh tho. My friend said he was told that there’s no more tech packages for ‘22s. He’s in Maryland but not sure if that’s true and if it’s like nationwide or what

I guess it would make sense if they can't get the sonar equipment for the tech package. I just wish they would make it official and not make an option on their website and also let the dealers know.

Do you use any kind of rust proofing by the way? I moved up here from Florida and after just one winter I have a decent amount of rust. I've done a little research on it and I've heard that cosmoline works well.

I had a a sr5 AC with the parking sensors, lane assist, adaptive cruise control, and built in nav. Had to trade to a DCSB because of my expanding family. The dcsb does not have the tech features, I don't miss them and kinda regret the fact a spent money on them. However, I think you are the only one that can answer this question.

Edit, I see you want led lights as well, the AC did not have them so I can't speak to that.

The new tech package is worth it. Coming from a 2019 tech pack to 2022, You get the bird eye view front camera and the coool headlights!

Yeah I really want the LED headlights. Is the front camera a trail cam? You must have the advanced Tech package?

I think cosmoline might be a good choice for a one and done situation. At least thats my impression. I didnt really know about it until after I had already gotten fluid film done to mine. I go to a guy a bit more local to me, but in Taunton, MA jpeira (sp?) posts on here about doing some days in the fall. A lot of the people in the northeast area on TW seem to go to him.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check him out! First thing I'm going to do after I leave the dealer. I think taunton's about 45 minutes to an hour away for me which is not too bad

The new headlights look so much better. You didn't take all your goodies to put on the new one?

I went through Costco auto for mine, picked out all the options I wanted (including tech package) through their website. Ended up paying about 500 to get it shipped in from out of state but it was exactly what I wanted so well worth the cost imo. Granted this was early 2020 before chip shortages and other supply chain issues, but if you have a Costco membership I'd say it's worth checking out.
