I see places like 88 rotors installing this EXACT setup, there must be thousands of Taco's they have done but do not show a cab mount chop in any of their vids. Does this EXACT setup not rub?

    6112 (2")/5180
    1.5 AAL
    Camburg UCA
    17x8.5 wheel, 0 offset
    285/70 KO2

I'm trying to see if i need to proactively do the chop during install or wait to see if it does rub. Doing it now will save me one trip and possibly a 2nd alignment but if i did not need one it'll obviously save me the CMC money not to mention not having to chop up my Taco.

Chances are yes it will rub. I’m running 285/70/17 KO2 on a 17x9 wheel with +1 offset, Icon Stage 3. Rubbed at full lock. CMC and molded the fender liner and it’s all good now.

As they say, so many variables. I’d have to think the extra 1/2” wheel width on top of a +1 offset is doing it. Seeing it was only at full lock doesn’t sound as severe.
