    New guy here!

    I recently bought a 2023 Tacoma SR 4WD TSS with stock 17" rims/tires

It came equipped with Nitto G2 and they are really slick in the rain.

I want to upgrade to the Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 265/70/17

I see they have two versions in that size. The 115T and 123/120S

The 115T is a lighter weight and smaller diameter (31.7)

Would this fit on my stock OEM rim without rubbing or causing any issues?

    Thanks for the assistance.

    Welcome to TW..

I hate to break it to ya, but unless I am missing something, the 2023 SR only came with 16" wheels and I think only steel at that, I also am pretty sure those are aftermarket Raceline Wheels 947B SCOUT Wheel Satin Black 17X8.5"
    https://www.amazon.com/Raceline-6X139-7-Aluminum-Passenger-Replacement/dp/B082RG8GK7?th=1

That aside, you have P265/65R17 tires now, the P265/70R17 is, as shown below, size difference..

    Screenshot 2024-12-28 120941.png

So the 70's are 1" taller then the 65's and the same width so if you have an extra inch to spare they should fit... But I don't know if they would fit for sure...

The 115 (load index) T (speed rating) and 123/120 (load index) S (speed rating) are the load index and speed rating of the tire..

    The 115T is a P metric tire and the 123/120S is a LT & probably load range E (10ply)

I found my Wildpeaks are ok with the rain, but my Duratracs where a whole lot better.

And P.S. those are not stock rims...

I upgraded to 265-70R17 Toyo Open Country AT III's. They rubbed on the mud flaps when at lock. Even after trimming they still rub. Every truck is different soome will fit no problem, some won't and a lift doesn't really help. Wheel offset can make a difference too.

On a side note, the Toyo's are easily the best AT tire I have ever had in the rain. And I live on the wet coast of B.C. so we have 364.8 days of rain!

2023 Tacoma SR 4WD here also. Upgraded to 17” wheels and 265/70R17 Duratracs. 20k miles and no issues.

The tire size is not the big concern. (Lots of people running this size, IIRC.) The question is the wheel offset. If you take one of your wheels off, there should be some size markings cast into the back side of the wheel. One is rim size ( like 17x8 ) and another would be offset ( like 20 ). The lower the offset number, the more the tire sticks out, and the more chance it will rub the fenders. Stock offset is 35ish. My 4Runner rims are maybe 25. Zero or negative offset and the tires are noticeably sticking out from the fenders.

Well like I said, unless I am missing something, I guess the TSS was the something...

But it still isn't factory (OEM), just a dealer or port add on thing right??...
And are the wheels still not aftermarket??

BTW: never seen a TSS in my little part of the world... lol

Thank you everyone. I am not well versed on the Tacoma so I thought everything was factory standard.
Anyways, I think I am either going to consider the new Terra Grappler G3 or the Toyo AT3 as I have read many reviews of balancing issues with the Falkens.

Raceline wheels with Tundra T-Force center caps? Aftermarket. OP still needs to confirm offset. If it’s the +18 offset (per your link), then he should be fine with the larger tire.

Yes , I checked inside the driver door and found the sticker shows 265/65R17 and the spare is R17
I assume the rim is 17x8.5 +18mm Offset as per the above link and also from Tirerack.
I crawled up under the truck (difficult and not fun as I am 81) and could not find anything printed or any markings on the inside of rim.

Having the same issue with the same tires before trimming. I was thinking of adding 1.25 inch spacers to stop the rubbing. Any thoughts on this for correction.

Wheel spacers or lift spacers. Either could help, but maybe not. I have 5mm offset 17 x 8 wheels similar to TRD Pro wheels. They push the tire out about 25mm and they rub. Next tires will be stock sized.
