The tiny bedside TRD decals on the new Tundra seem lost

Wonder if the Tacoma Hybrid might have a different grill due to different airflow needs? The Tundra front end is 'bull dog" ugly in my opinion. Nothing against bull dogs. But if carried over with new Tacoma it's going to have to be dramatically reduced in size or it will turn buyers off.

Also I don't expect any truck to be aerodynamically designed as a car, but one has to wonder how the Tundra and possibly the new Tacoma deals with wind noise/air flow with such a big flat snout? Tundra sure looks like a "air flow" killer to me.

Saw a new Tundra sitting beside a new Ram 1 Ton, the Toyota’s grill was bigger than the Ram’s. Thought that was funny. Why so much flex Toyota? They went from humble styling to a bit of overcompensating. Though that seems to be the theme for the American market, bigger the grill the higher the social status I guess.

As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Seems to me there is a contest among manufacturers of who can build the ugliest truck, but that is just me. :)

I think the front is over-styled, a troublesome trend on more and more Toyota's, especially Lexus. I don't have a problem otherwise with the '24 Tacoma grille with the exception of those "crying-goatee-grills" hanging down below the two headlights. They just don't belong there. They look like after-thought pieces that the boss demanded be added. Classic example of "we should have stopped before we added these". I have to say that for the most part, Toyota really nails the rear styling on all of there vehicles... (The new Tundra is border-line) Then they lose their minds on the front styling. If they had to have those front vents, they should be color-keyed to the paint or be fully separated from the headlamp housing. The Tundra has them and they are just as bad, though you don't notice them as much because the rest of the front of it is so over-styled.
