Hi! I’ve searched the threads and found no definitive answer for my question. I’m interested in replacing the stock tires on my incoming 2018 TRD Pro with K02 265/75r16’s. They are only an inch taller. So, I’m assuming it’s only a 1/2 inch more reach towards the fenders and wheel wells. It looks like the new tires are a 1/2 inch narrower too. I want to keep the stock TRD Pro suspension. So, has anybody run this with no rubbing, and no trimming? Sorry in advance if this has been answered somewhere else. I really did read but only found guys saying they did it but with a lift or leveling kit or a different tire.

Yes they will absolutely rub! Jk 265/75/16 is the biggest size you can run without rubbing or any other issues

You will be okay to run that size, If your getting a trd pro you will be more than fine...they come 1”inch higher than off-road models and OR model can run 265/75/16 without any issue with stock suspension

Hope that helps, didn’t mean to confuse you lol

The only thing it could rub would be the oem mud flaps if you have them. Some people need to bend, move or take them off. I would suggest rock blocks mudflaps I took my oem off for them. They are bendable so they won’t get torn off if they rub the ground. The look is way better I think too.

It’s a word now. At least you don’t have to put in the work to take them off to instal your nice flaps.

You're good on the 265/75/16 tires. They will fill out the wheel wells a little and not rub.

You're definitely good man, I have 265/75/r16s on my SR5 and they have no run except I did have to remove the front mud flaps. The trd pro sits about an inch higher on the front end than the other trim levels, so you should clear them even better than we do. The 265s fill out the wheel wells nicely

No but it won't fill out the wheel well like a 255/85/16.....which also doesn't rub

Do you need the height of a pro to run 255/80/17? Or can a off road run them too?

An off-road can run them as well, that size tire performs good off-road but they are too skinny for my taste lol

Cool, thanks for the info. I just checked the at3 size list and they don’t even make that size so I don’t think I’ll go that size. If I go with the st maxx though I may get that size.
