I have a 2006 D/C with jbl audio upgrade. I want to change out the front speakers to the JL C2 6x9s. Does anyone know if they will fit right in or if I will have to do some modifications?

Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
I would think that any 6x9 would fit, but the issue could be with the depth. I dunno for sure if they would fit. More likely to fit than not fit.

i just installed some jl C2 6x9 last weekend. they wont fit without a spacer. *********.com has a good write up on how to remove door panels and offer the spacers for sell. speakers sound good but will sound better with more power going to them. my next upgrade is a new double din HU. maybe a an amp after that to really wake the speakers up
