Hi everyone, I'm lifting my truck next week with the OME Suspension system and I'm just curious if it will effect the way that the camera will display whats behind the truck. For instance, if the guide lines will no longer be any help when backing. And if it does mess with it, is there any way to correct it? I've looked everywhere and couldn't find anything. Thanks.

It might effect the guide line a little. Not by much though. After you lift it, I would reverse to a line on the ground (when it lines up with the red guide line) and get out and measure how far away your truck is. Then adjust your reversing accordingly.

    A few bolts are different.
As you said they are "guidelines", to be used as a reference. It will be fine. Use mirrors to park also and there will be no troubles.

Back up until you hit something. Go out and take a look, that's how far off it is. Just kidding, mine is fine, no noticable differences.

I guess that depends on the size of lift.
if you are backing up or downhill the perspective is different and wont be as accurate so the same would be true for the lift. bigger the lift the bigger the difference between the line and how close to you

I was surprised how accurate the line was, used it to back right under the hitch for my boat. All I had to do was lower it.

Thats a good idea. I think the red line is already marked for 6 inches away so ill just have to adjust.

I added the poplock tailgate handle with camera to my 05. Lifted my truck 3" after that. No difference noted.
