I've got a 1999 Tacoma extended cab 4x4 v6, and it needs new front door speakers. They are 6.5" round. Can anyone tell me if the MB Quart ONX116 or PVL216 models will fit? They are the correct diameter, but I'm worried they might be too deep.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
They will fit. Worst case you may need to build a baffle but I highy doubt it.

That's the part I'm worried about. I had a really nice set of Cliffs Designs separates from my old truck, and they wouldn't fit because they were a couple of inches too deep. I want to be sure the MB Quart's don't have the same problem before I buy them.

You can buy mdf speaker rings that mount between the speaker and door to bring the speaker out if it's deeper. Sorta like madjik said that dude did.

Madjik, your truck looks exactly like mine inside, thanks for the link! My door panel fits tight up against the front of the stock speaker; did you have to trim the door panel to make the speak fit after adding those spacer rings?
