Depends on what the insulation is made out of.

In any case, I wouldn't want them touching or even close to the radiator (although if you can get at least an inch of clearance, its probably ok) Even if they don't melt, the heat can make things brittle over time. Better to find a different place to run them if possible.

Like @0xDEADBEEF and @Taco critter said, I'd move them... but... I think what we're looking at there in the photo is actually the condenser for the A/C system and not the radiator itself. The condenser sits in front of the radiator, behind the grill but in front of the core support; the radiator sits behind the core support and is covered by the fan.

So, if I've interpreted the photo correctly, I'm not sure how hot the condenser ever really gets... but I'd imagine the answer is "not at all" if the climate control is off. Of course, if I interpreted the photo incorrectly then just ignore me.

    And still, I'd move it.

Ignoring heat, fine tendns to have an edge on them, they'll eat through the insulation eventually.

Yeah, looks like the condenser if you have AC. Probably won't melt through, but why not just zip tie the wires away from it?

I could see if you have some made in China Wire with insulation that gets real soft just holding it in your hand might melt at temperatures above 200 Degrees.

I have run wire in split loom along the top of the radiator tank for years without problems. Were not talking wire tied to the exhaust

Your melting insulation you have something else going on.
