Will my Smittybilt tent fit?

I havent had the time to pick up my tent yet.
Smittybilt overlander.
I have a long box with a tool box.
Can someone with this tent tell me the distance on the underside from the outside edge to the mounting bracket? And distance between the 2 mounting points?


I have a tool box....the rails in the box do not go all the way to the tailgate.
I am trying to figure out ahead of time if it will fit.
I dont care if the tent hangs past the tailgate.

Are you talking about the regular one or the XL? I can take measurements for you but only of the XL.

When I took measurements to make my setup I found the dimensions on the smittybilt website.

Here you go from the website. Looks like you are looking 55 inches from front to back and 47 wide...this is closed and it would open to the side of truck. Now another option would be for it to open with the entrance to the back of the truck so you wouldn't have as much length until you folded it out.

Let me see later...I have access to a regular one.

They're actually tracks that small aluminum plates slide through . So not really mounting points. Those plates are what you mount to your solid object which in case most people use bed racks. Trying to figure out which measurement you need.

Then from mou ting point...rail ...whatever u call it ....to outside edge....
