Will overdrive solenoid from 2000 work in my 97?

    Having issues with my original transmission. Replaced a few parts and now need an overdrive solenoid. Considering buying a whole used transmission out of a 2000 4cyl 2wd. Anyone know if it's the same transmission or if the overdrive solenoid from the 2000 would work in my 97. Thanks y'all
