    Hey Everybody,

I just bought front and rear 5100s for my 2005. Will the 5100 bilsteins lift the rear more than the stock bilsteins on it now?

I bought 2 inch blocks for the rear, but worried they may give it too much of a lift.

Thanks for you help (fastest replies of any forum)

    Stay safe abd take care.

No. 5100s for the rear provide no lift. You get lift from blocks or leaf springs for the rear.

It will allow more travel with the blocks.

They are usually rated for 1” on standard 5100s. It’s still not a bad choice.

2” blocks sit the same on all shocks, but run out of down travel on oem shocks.

No, the rear height is determined by the leaf springs/blocks only. So you’ll just get the 2” from the block. In my opinion 2” is a lot of lift for the rear.
