Depends on the sliders. The ones that I built for myself stick out far enough to prevent door dings. That's one of the reasons I built them like that cuz I wanted to prevent stupid people from carelessly opening their doors on mine haha

It will prevent from most front doors, but the rear doors that curve into the wheel well can still clear the sliders. I look at mine every once in awhile to see if there are any marks from doors but it is hard to tell.
I still defensive park even though I have sliders.

Depends on the height of his taco and of the other vehicle.

This pretty much covers it. I've checked the clearance against both of our compact sedans, front doors against slider = lots of room before it hits the door. Rear doors though with the cut out will allow it to hit.

never had a door ding because people are afraid of hitting my kickout sliders lol. even if they did open pass that, my tires sticks out far enough to not hit the rear bed.

Most but not all. I have sliders, color matched door mouldings incase anything gets past the sliders, and i still park away from people.
