Will super bumps really limit travel that much?

Says on a stock hight truck they might limit up travel. If you end up with these and the stock bumps, is it really that limited (over stock).

    Anyone have experience?

I've already got a set coming for the rear with the hammer hangers and ubolt flip.

No experience with them, so take this as such.
Generic suspension component (Ie designed for a wide variety of use), are usually very suboptimal. If you need those, you’re far better off simply running a stiffer spring.

    Lift and cap so far...
I have similar height ones and I still hit them from time to time with a 2.5" lift. You can look under your truck, see how much up-travel is available stock, and compare the height of the stock bumps to these to get an idea of difference. Also, with a U bolt flip the plate (about 3/8" thick) moves between the spring and bump so you'll lose that distance too

Edit: I was assuming this was regarding rear suspension since you mentioned hangers and bolt flip, but the bumps you linked are fronts. Same logic applies though

Asking about the fronts... Just mentioned the rears as a data point that I'll already be running super bumps.

Price is ballpark the same for the Duro bumps (supers are on sale right now so cheaper). Why those over super?

I remember hearing that if you jump a stock taco you will rip your fender liner out. So the factory suspension has enough slop in it the factory bump stop doesn’t fully stop compression. Are you on stock suspension?

    Currently yes.

I haven't made up my mind if I'll be upgrading any time soon. It's been pretty capable so far. But I have had some harsh bottoms. Just looking to smooth those out a little.

I have them for the rear on stock height and they are great. Did 1400 miles of Baja with them. No complains.

I got them for the front and decided not to put them on because like the mfg stated it could limit travel. At stock height it looked like it basically would hit the bump stops with any minor bump

I have them on front & back. No problems so far in Colorado. Mostly daily driving but I take about 4 big fishing trips each year & so far so good!
