Impulse trades usually don't pan out for me, but this one, whether expensive or not, may be the best. Coming out of a F150 platinum ecoboost and into a 2020 Cement TRD is a bit of a jump down, but I am enjoying it. Night #1, ordered Eibach lift, Night #2, ARB bumper on the way....tonight is #3, might as well order tires.

I am a fan of practical things, this truck will be used. The ford didn't handle it well, and I hope this one can keep up. Have been roaming the forum for the last few weeks, figured I'd jump on the train and have something that actually holds its value.

This rig will live 75% of it's life on lease roads, and the other 25% on Tx and Ok highways running wide open. See y'all along the way :hattip:IMG_1433.jpg

Based on your pic there, I'd throw some mudflaps on or at PPF down along the rockers, learned my lesson the hard way after a few tacomas in, stock, lifted, etc. without something and those types of roads your paint will suffer.

Welcome and nice color choice, pretty amazed you actually found a TRD DCSB 4WD OR in cement and this climate, they are selling for MSRP or mark up right now if you can even find one, nice job!

I have noticed this is a rock slinger for sure, have always ran BFG KO2's on everything I've had so the dinging doesn't phase me as much anymore, but I may consider the options.
Most dealerships in Texas are catching back up on trucks, seemed like they all got truck loads in last week when I started calling. I paid under sticker thankfully. I really wanted the 6 speed MT in cement, but I was going to have to order and wait the minimum 2 months to get my hands on it. I don't mind the AT, will take some getting use to for sure, as from what I've gathered toyota has been struggling with since the 3rd gens came out. If I baby it, it lugs. If I drive it and don't think about it, it performs like it should. All in the operator, I suppose.

It'll smooth out from a former rower, just takes some time for the trans logic to learn and adapt, think its like the first 500 miles. RokBloks are a good flap option for ya especially with the lift. Glad you managed under sticker, I was at 13% off MSRP w/out rebates but that was after alot of negotiating and waiting precovid and guys are struggling to get anything in the price thread right now. I think you made a fine choice, now start your build thread!

It gets better every time I get in it, I'll be rolling 500 on the clock in the morning. I didn't figure exactly how much off I got, but it wasn't to much. I was looking hard at the new GMC sierras and the trade offer I got from a family friend at a GMC dealership made me sign the Toyota line with a smile on my face.
I'll get the build thread going when boxes hit the porch, and the ECGS bearing goes in :sawzall:

Dude anything off in this enviornment is good and life is too short to wait for the maybe. Also love the new Sierras especially the AT4s. Looking forward to following your build thread along.

I agree, 100%. I love them too, but not the price tag.

Are they also not discounting big due to supply / demand? I knew when I bought my 14 Silverado loaded Z71 I managed like $14k off sticker. Ya no way I'd pay sticker for any domestic.

I get my cement TRD Sport 4WD in a week and can't wait ! They wrestled 37,500 out of me and I am having trouble getting a straight answer on fitting fuel 18x9 -12 offset 4.5" BS with a ridge grappler 285/65/18 (32.5" 11.5" ) tire under it with minimal lift parts If anyone has any advise on fitting this with minimal trim/chop and as inexpensive as possible for 90 percent street use i would appreciate it.
