If you are referring to the 2009-2010 OEM taillights, yes they will work in an 05

This is great to know. I just noticed a small crack in my driver side tail light and I was thinking about grabbing a pair of the OEM LED lights for the 09 but wasn't sure if they would fit. Now I know. :p

I bought a pair off ebay, Paid 167 + 15 shipping. They were plug in play on my 05 SR5. Very easy to install.

hate to bring this up from the dead, but can anyone confirm that the vice versa will work?

thanks dude! wasn't sure if plugs for the incandescent bulbs drew more power than the leds, so backward compatability would be an issue
