    I purchased 20×10 black wheel moto metal MO962 6×5.5 -24 Rims
I bought LT285/55R20 Venom Power Terrain Hunter X/T Hybrid AT/MT tires.

Can I get these to fit without extended studs and a lift kit??

A 32.5" diameter tire with -24 offset will likely create some rubbing with the wheel turned.

How do I fix that issue without a lift kit? I have a 2in leveling spacer kit I'm installing tomorrow. A guy at the tire shop said my studs needed extended as well. Do I need wheel spacers to do that?

-24 offset is already pushing your wheels out a lot. I don't think spacers are going to help you any, honestly. You are probably looking at a lift, a cab mount chop and maybe some pinch weld hammering.

What did the tech mean by the studs need extending? Maybe that you need extended thread lugs?

They said the lug nut did not have enough thread screwed on to hold the tire properly. So they suggested extended studs to get enough thread for the lug nuts to hold

Extended thread lugs is a more common solution than replacement of the studs. That’s typically done when you add really thick spacers, like in racing wheel configurations.

You're gonna have to trim a ton....

My 17x9 -12 offset wheels (285/70/17 tires) still rub after lifting (2.5") and trimming some plastic + CMC.

That's my setup, almost. I'm at -10, 285/70/17, 2.5" lift and CMC, and I am completely clear, even at full wheel lock. I did hammer the pinch weld down though and cut out a lot of plastic that was covering it up.

    Where are you still rubbing?

Lift does not help clear larger tires, unless you are planning to drive in a straight line and never cycle your suspension.

With that offset and size, you will have a lot of rubbing.

It rubs slightly on the side fender wall on the inside when turning the wheel. Plenty of clearance in height and behind the tire
