    ad in craigslist for 4 four runner rims and tires size p265/70r/16 will it fit my truck. 07 access cab 4x4 base model 4.0 auto. I currently have 245/75/16

    Those will be great for gas mileage! Instead of some big ole hunchers that look really kool going to the mall and back.

    When I buy Michelin’s defenders that’s the size I will get.

    How's that? Almost the same OD, and a wider tire, not sure how you figure that will improve gas mileage.

    none
    That is the size that came from the factory on my 07. They will be about 1" wider, and the same height as the ones you now have.

    Well I need tires soon for inspection although I've never bought a used tire in my 58 years. The wheels are an upgrade. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm not fanatical about appearece as I am about the truck being maintained well. I did always like a wider imprint I just don't want to have to trim anything or have a rubbing issue. Thanks for all the replies.
