    alternatively, what makes the oem toyota version $24 better? is it brighter? will people allow him to merge in front of them, knowing he bought a new, oem part? will girls be more willing to give him their numbers? does it make him more attractive?

    save the $24, buy yourself lunch some time.

    Either product may not be "better" than the other at lighting the cargo area; however, you often get what you pay for (or don't pay for).

    How durable are the knockoffs? Are the exterior components made of quality material ? Are they sealed from weather/moisture as good as OEM? Are the electrical components made with quality materials? Was the product thoroughly tested?

    I'll pay $24 for some piece of mind, and skip paying $24 to make an expensive turd out of lunch someone else cooked for me.

    I always go with OEM accessories versus knock-offs, but that's just me. I think I'll go buy some lunch now.

    i tend to do the worst option instead.

    i'll buy the $15 version, and then rebuild it with $200 in parts.

    It's not plug and play on a 2019. It can be done I guess but ain't worth the effort IMO.

    I stuck a battery powered LED puck light in my 2019's bed. Easy peezy and gets the job done.
