Relieves muscle pain and migraines, etc.

I have a mild form of scoliosis and I know it would help relieve those pains, but I would do it in moderation. Nothing is good if you over do it. I believe you can smoke yourself stupid and some people probably will, but the majority of people who smoke will get taxed and it will be a good thing for the state ($) and a good thing for the people (they won't get in trouble with the law).

Of course there is going to be people who abuse it, just like alcohol.

I think it will be legalized in Canada , where personal use is pretty much tolerated , but never see it happening in the states .

Its inevitable that it will be legalized eventually.

I hope not too soon though...

    For business reasons...

    Ok I'm back

Conner, you're right about alcohol being part of the European culture as a past time tradition, but Hindus, Hebrews, Muslims and Native Americans all used marijuana. As a past time, medicine, and for religious reasons. So why can't it be legal? Its part of those cultures so why can't it be part of ours? And I could see the side of saying that only those people should be able to smoke it then for those purposes...but can only europeans drink alcohol in the United States?? I think that argument is for weed being legal. European traditions transfered over to America...why can't other people bring their traditions too? When they are less harmful then those already legal.

You can twist and turn anything to make it your side of the argument. Most people won't change their mind and unless you have first hand experience you can't really say you are correct.

Both the pro and con - cannabis voters will purposely misinterpret information to make their side of the argument seem more valid

The arguing will continue forever and it isn't going to do anything except create tension and animosity towards one another.

Legalize pot and they will just ship more of the other drugs they control like coke, Heroin, and Ice

Set that Bong down for a while and you might be able to figure the simple shit out on you're own

Beyond the personal views on using / not using weed , the only way that pot will be legalized is when the government thinks the pros outweigh the cons .

or , " when can we start taxing people on this stuff and create an income stream rather than paying law enforcement to oppose it's distribution and use "
