It is one of the easiest manuals I’ve ever driven. From the very first shift of a test drive in 2016 to the shifts this morning on my new 2021, the drive train works perfectly. Never missed or ground a gear up or down. You can really feel the power and great engine notes of the 3.5L when winding it out in 3rd and slipping into 4th. The electric seat puts you in a good ergonomic position for clutching. It’s an excellent truck with the automatic, and it’s a special truck with the manual. And it will NEVER be a problem to sell or trade if you change your mind, so there is minimal risk.
