If you are trying to level the truck and still maintain a comfortable ride and keep at around 2-2.5". I would recommend aftermarket coils paired with the 5100's.

I would go with OME 885 but if you are going to be adding a heavy bumper up front, i would go with the 886.

Anything more, you will need aftermarket UCA

You can technically still just use the 5100's with your stock coils

20% Tint, OME 3"complete lift with Dakar's, Light Racing UCA's, 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers, 10 HP TW sticker, Ultraguage, B.A.M.F. Rock Sliders, MedicFab Bed Rack, Relentless front bumper, Air Flow Snorkel, Ham comms, Tech Deck
Depends on the setting you out the 5100's at as to how much lift.

I wouldn't advise going with 886's unless you are getting a bumper very soon. That is going to be a very stiff ride without something up front to weigh it down.

If you do go with 886's then set the 5100's at 0.

With stock coils, your lift is dependant upon where you set the 5100s. 0 = 0".

Aftermarket springs will lift the truck even with the 5100s set to zero.

The bottom ring on the front billy 5100 can be set at 0, .85, 1.75, or 2.5 with stock springs, go to the 1.75 (second from highest) and should get you 2 or just under. If new coils like 885s, set at zero

for you to get the best results the 5100's set at 0 paired with either eibach coils or ome coils is your best option. let the coils give you the lift you want. if you get your lift from the coils as opposed to your struts it will allow your suspension to function better and your ride will be much nicer. you can obtain the lift you want by using the 5100 with stock coils and just setting the strut at a higher setting but this will put a preload on your coil limiting suspension travel and giving you a rougher ride. contact @HeadStrong Off-Road and ask marie for suggestions she will listen to what you have now, what you'd like to have, and what your future plans are and can point you in the rt direction. if you order from them pay the extra and have them preassemble you struts it will give you a new top hat and bushings and then when you recieve them all you'll need to do is remove your stock stuff and install the new. i'm by no means any kind of an expert here and if other more knowlegable people read this please correct me if i'm wrong maybe i'll learn something as well but marie will steer you rt

Since your a DCLB which is heavier then DBSC and not sure if you are prerunner or 4x4. I have a DCLB 4x4, and regardless of what spring you use, don't set them to 0" set them to .85" if you use the 885. If you get the toytec kit with springs, you have to set them to the max setting for the full 3inches of lift or set them at recommend 1.75 and get spacers. Again you have a long bed so don't go by the short bed settings. Weight make a big difference on these lift kits.

I don't think it's recommended to set aftermarket coils like 885's higher than 0. Yes, I know people do it, just sayin'. I have them set at zero on my SB 4wd and got 2.5 inches of lift. Definitely use the driver side spacer. 887's will lift another half inch or so. Talk to Marie at Headstrong Off-road, well respected and pricing is hard to beat.

My Tacoma comes with bilstein Shock I have the trd sport package, the yellow and blue one, do I have to change the rear shock if I put 5100 in the front ? Will I see a difference ? What's the difference between 5100 and the bilstein that comes with the trd ?
