Just about any Double Din or Single Din Stereo will fit just fine with a proper installation kit. For a novice the best source would be http://www.crutchfield.com/car/outfitmycar/car.aspx. They will provide you all the guidance you need and assist with the installation. An added benifit is they include specific instruction and every thing required to install with a purchase.

The stereo you have listed is the Standard Toyota Stereo for your truck. Which is an over priced piece of crap in my opinion:

    AM/FM CD - Toyota (86140-04120)

Well before I would put in one of those 2014 stereos in my 2008 Tacoma I would go to Crutchfields and get a nice stereo for less than half the price of the OEM and enjoy it.

This reminds me of those vague ads you see on Autotrader or Craigslist that has a heading of "2011 Tacoma for sale" and when you click on it all the description says is "has new tires."
