Might be getting a Kawasaki mule from family member- 20 years or older, 4x4, 2 seater. Unsure exact model or weight. Will this trailer hold safety and tow the mule with a 4 cyl auto tacoma 3rd gen SR.. 200 miles. Florida. Mostly flat ground. Will that be too much stress on the truck?

Look up what the Mule weighs. If it less than 2000 pounds, you will be fine.

Be sure to have some tongue weight.

    Should be fine

If you don't want to buy a trailer you could always rent one from Uhaul.

I was thinking of renting that exact trailer I listed with those specifications for $25.00 for 24 hours from tractor supppy. Since once I get the mule to its new location then won’t need trailer for good while

Flatland towing a Mule in that trailer; you won't even know its back there.

You're asking if a trailer with unknown dimensions will carry an unknown weight and size UTV? Or are you asking if the truck will tow that combo? You might need a little more info before asking the internet the first question. But yes, the truck can tow a utility trailer with a small UTV on it.

Seems like a good plan. Like others said, just make sure you have some tongue weight. Not sure how much towing you’ve done and don’t want to insult your intelligence but also don’t want you to get hurt. Having very little (or worse negative) tongue weight can cause major swaying which becomes quite dangerous.

I don't even consider my utility trailer mine anymore. It's the community trailer. I have to schedule when I need it and half of the time I do not even know where the fuck it is. LOL.... When people ask to use it I have to figure out who has it and have them coordinate with them.

The Mule weighs 1K, give or take a few pounds. You'll be fine.
The weight of the base Mule hasn't changed much in 20 years.

Be sure to choke the front tires of your truck when you load it. It might pick the rear up the truck up and that can make for an interesting few seconds if it hasn't happened to you before. And strap it down where the suspension of the mule is loaded. Those little trailers can bounce a lot.

These are pictures from when we picked up my 2009 Mule about a year and a half ago. Ours is a 4010 model which is a little bigger and heavier than some. Plus we have windshield and it had doors on it when we drove it home. I've taken the doors off since then. I think my Mule is more like about 1500 or 1600 lb, but I'd have to look to know for sure. My 3rd gen has a V6 and automatic. The trailer belongs to my sister and it is also aluminum like the one that you attached a picture of. The drive home with it was close to 200 miles.

Edit: The 4010 is 1431 pounds, plus mine has doors, front glass, roof, and back glass. Plus a horse mat in the cargo bed that weighs a ton. I took the doors off, and added gas struts to aid in opening the engine compartment (with that heavy horse mat). It's 62" wide, and 118" long.

Oh, ya... you need to know how wide the 2 things are. My trailer like that is 5x10 and with tracks, my ATV is Almost too wide. So you need to know if the Mule is 5 feet wide or more and how wide the UHaul one is.

Dude, it's FL. Just drive the mule on the freeway!

Check things like roof, doors, windshield (models that aren’t actual glass) are properly secured. Sometimes these items mounting points may crack, and the air over the truck may rip em right off. My buddy’s Ranger had this happen, luckily it flew off before he hit the highway and he was able to retrieve it and it didn’t cause an incident on the road.

I'm not seeing trailer size anywhere. Weight isn't a problem but you need a 10'X6' trailer. Some are 8'X5'. That LOOKs like a 10X6 but it doesn't say.

If you know the "exact specifications" of the trailer then post them.

I ain’t saying it can’t tow it or to worry about it, but he will definitely know it’s back there.
