I plan on buying this next week from a guy in Atlanta. I haven't been able to examine it in person yet, but the guy I'm buying it from has a 2003, so it should fit my 2001 just fine, right?

About the bumper: he said it's custom, so I'm assuming it's something someone built at home, but it looks professional! Does anyone recognize it as a certain company's bumper? From what I can tell, it looks pretty damn good. It's got two tow spots, a hitch, and light for the license plate.

He was asking $450, but we're doing $350, plus my old bumper, which I think is okay b/c everything I've found is around $350 and up, plus $100 or more for shipping

Depending on where you are in georgia it might be worth meeting him somewhere. Tjat way you csn see it in person and it will save you shipping.

Yeah, I know...I shoulda taken that deal. That $50 bumper I got off the salvaged truck didn't exactly work out haha. If I get this one, I was gonna see if you could do some mad scientist work to it. I've got a few ideas.

Do you know what size tubing that is? Looks a lot larger than the 1.75" I work with.. I don't have any 2" as that is what it looks to be but could deffinatly do it and I don't blame you for wanting more on the side! Its saved my ass a ton

Might I add, what happened with the Big gaudy bumper you picked up before?

Given the amount of time it's going to take to get that thing ready, I figured I'd just go ahead and get something I want, rather than prettying up something that's just going to be temporary. But, if I ever do make it up to SC, I'll let you have it. Maybe you can do something with it lol

Well you said shipping was $100 so I figured it must be, for 100 bucks in gas I can go pretty much anywhere in the peach state... But that might just be me always being down for a road trip

Oh I meant that shipping a bumper from anywhere else is expensive. The guy that has that bumper is in Cummings. Don't go get it before I do!!!

Damn thing got weathered and chipped away. I gotta get a new one!
