Not sure exactly how things are wired, but I'm switching from h11 (55 watt) bulbs to h9 (65 watt bulbs)

To make things "even more better" I got this as well.

    Do they share common wires?

I'm ok going 10 watts more, but I have no idea if that mod is going to make some wire somewhere glow red hot and catch my truck on fire.

Is there any common wiring between the fogs, highs, and low beams that I need to be worried about?

The headlights are fused independently per bulb. The R/L bulbs share a common relay for low and a common for high. I don't recall how the fogs are fused, but will also share a single relay.

To answer your question, no it will not overload the circuit. The jumper is installed in the cab, those wires just control the relays and do not carry any current load to the bulbs. The bulbs on their own independent circuits remain unchanged. All the jumper does is disable the foglight automatic controls to the fog relay.

This might sound neat, but it is really useless and actually makes you see worse. Fogs are disabled with high beams because in order to see distance in the dark you can't have excessive foreground light which is exactly what fogs provide as the excessive foreground light constricts and reduces night vision. Fogs are for when you can't see any far distance in bad weather, so they provide high amounts of foreground light with a wide pattern and cut offs so that you can find the edge of the road at low speed. There are no scenarios on the road where it makes sense to have your high beams and fog lights on at the same time. One could argue for trail use if you do night wheeling, as fogs can help illuminate obstacles in a wider pattern than the headlights, and on the trail the low beam cut off may not be desired. But in that scenario off road lights would be a better fit.

WTF!! Have the SCBA, but no mask, no hood, looks like the neck protector of helmet if folded up, and his suspenders are off. car fires can be very hot... At least he is approaching at ~45deg to the front bumper, but that may have blown already. I can go on, but glad he is not on my crew,

About a year ago, I was driving and smelled smoke. Previous owner added some LEDs below the rear bumper, that I never used. The wire harness under the dash had somehow shorted out and was red hot and began to melt. I had just enough time to pull over and disconnect the battery and all AM harnesses. After I checked my shorts, and the truck, I hooked up the battery and continued on with the windows down to air out the cab. Luckily there was no damage other than the melted LED light harness .

Is this what happens when you switch the gas power to lithium battery power for the truck?
