    will a tranny from thats for a TACOMA 98-99 A.T.; 4x4, 6 cyl
    fit my 98 AT 4x4 2.7L


    if it doesnt what would I need to make it fit ?

    You need one from a 4 cylinder.

    What you would need;
    1) Custom flex plate.
    2) Custom... bell housing? If that's what they call it on an automatic.
    3) Transmission control computer, which hopefully is a separate unit from the ECU. If it isn't, you'll need to hire an engineer for a year, cost you maybe $100k if you're lucky.
