I need a new vapor pressure sensor for my 2001 Toyota Tacoma manual v6. My buddy had this one attached to his old 4Runner that doesn’t run. He said I could have it for free. I understand they don’t make the correct part new anymore 89460-42020, but I have heard that swapping in a similar VPS may get rid of my check engine light issue. Do y’all think this one should work or should I buy the correct OEM part listed above used off eBay? Thanks for the advice. :)

    Yeah.
From what I can tell using the Google, the 42020 part is for a RAV4. The 35010 part you pictured is for both 4Runner and Tacoma.

I used a similar one, might have been from a 2000 Camry V6 and it cleared my P0450 code. I can check the part number when I get a chance.
