    That's how I think the big rigs will eventually go; electric motors driving the wheels and a small generator recharging the system as it goes. Could have very long legs, with greatly reduced fuel usage. Also adds flexibility to fuel options.

    Doubtful. It would increase the price by too much. If they haven't introduced a hybrid option by now they won't. (Hybrid Highlander in current production.)

    This is the future for sure. It's actually good for the environment.
