I have a 2015 Taco with TRD S/C installed. Want to know and have searched and find no answer to this question on the forums. Anyone know for sure what the answer is? Thanks up front!

Sure why wouldn't it? I believe the supercharger moves the throttle body over an inch or 2 so you might need to trim the air tube.

I fit an afe on mine but it was tight

Yes. But voids warranty fine print for the SC.

No such thing as "voids warranty".

While in general yes, the SC paperwork explicately spells out CAI or smaller pulley voids the warranty on the SC (not truck).

I put on the 2.85 pulley anyway.

Thanks Gainman-just wanted to confirm whether it would bolt on. I know that I can fabricate/modify the K&N to make fit but wasn't sure if it remained a bolt-on process. Thanks!
Crashnburn80-so this makes me wonder about a couple of things...
    1. Since I didnt get any of the paperwork for the S/C install (it was already installed when I bought it) can you do a cut and paste of what you're talking about?
    2. When you installed the 2.85 pulley did it require any fuel map adjustments or did you just keep the OEM re-flash as is? Or add on a fuel/programming adjusting device?
Thanks for the replies from both of you!

    1) See the post of the warranty page a few images down, here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trd-supercharger-warranty-and-stickers.40891/

Many guys run this setup. The CAI leans out the very rich AFR to make more power.

    2) With the 2.85 pulley, no other adjustments are required since the OEM reflash is so rich. It is advised to get a higher flowing fuel pump, as this puts it at about the limit. That is next on my list.

Here is my thread on pulley install:

They can't do that. Obviously if there is a failure directly caused by these upgrades then they can deny the claim, but the Magnuson Moss warranty act protects you.

Now obviously it probably won't be worth the time in court

Gainman and CrashNburn80-thanks for the posts...

CRASH-Very good thread about the pulley change. Makes me ask the question of what would I do if the pulley decided to not go all the way on and seat...kinda scary thought! So obviously you're operating without the recommended fuel pump changes? Did URD offer good support during your research process (prior to doing the mods) or just pure sales support? Also, I take it from the comments that the pulley change is not authorized from a smog standpoint? Depending on where I end up living long term (I am currently moving for work every 6-8 months) I might end up in AZ and they have emissions tests.

@VolcomTacoma had that happen. In short it is easier if you just don't let it happen. I don't yet have the upgraded pump, but I am not operating any additional upgrades yet. URD does not list it as required but consensus is it would be a good practice, especially as the stock pump gets older/ pump filter media gets dirty.

I purchased my pulley from another member on here who did not install it, so I didn't have any direct dealing with URD other than ordering the install tool.

I've not heard or read anything about not passing smog. It is not authorized from a warranty standpoint, hence the stealth version, but doesn't stop many. I live in an area that does regular emissions testing and am not worried about it. If it can fly passed the Comifornia guys, it will pass anywhere in the US.

Thanks for all the info. I will have to chew on this before I decide what to do...not sure if I want to void the warranty or not?
