Having some vibrations between 0-10mph with the details in another post. One of the suggestions was checking out the u-joints. Before I go any further, I was wondering if you guys think u-joint will be covered under warranty if i have a 3" lift? I would rather do it myself, but I have never done them before so it would be a learning experience (any tips on joint replacement would be appreciated). If I could possibly get it done under warranty I will probably go that route.

    Stock...for now
If they find out that the lift caused the problem, probably not.

they'll most likely try and blame them failing on you having the lift...but they may not

I'm thinking the same thing about them trying to blame the lift causing the u joint to fail. Last time i thought my transmission was leaking at the yoke where it goes into the transmission and they were trying to tell me someone had messed with the drive shaft. So i played dumb and acted like i had no idea what they were talking about, but come to find out it was just dirt mixed with moisture or what ever that made it look like a leak. They cleaned it out and i never saw that little drop again.

Unless you off road your truck, or are really hard on it, I doubt you have failed u-joints but they are easy enough to check. Lay under the truck, grab the drive shaft on either side of the u-joint and see if there is any play across the joint (there shouldn't be). There is also sometimes a clunk that is heard when shifting from reverse to drive or drive to reverse. That clunk is the driveline taking up the 'slack' from the u-joints.
