Will window tint interfere with any TSS features?

I live in Florida and would like to get my windows tinted with nano-ceramic tint to help cut on some of the interior heat as my truck is parked in the driveway all the time (the Mrs gets the garage). The installer who is quoting me says they have a Llumar Air series film that they can use on the windshield which will have the same heat rejection and UV blocking properties as the film that goes on the windows but is high visibility and does not alter the appearance of the glass. My concern is that this may interfere with the radar for the adaptive cruise control and/or any other TSS features that depend on that radar. Does anyone have any experience with this or a similar product on their windshield, and has it interfered with the radar? Thanks!

The cruise control radar is on the front grill, so I don't think tinting the wind shield would affect it.
What it could be affected if anything is the lane departure detection system.

Nope. The camera is behind that large black cover above the rearview. The tint installer won't go behind that. Won't affect TSS

Correct . The TSS radar unit sits behind the Logo in the grille. People such as RobMotive on YouTube , have also tinted the logo without issue. Since tint gets applied from the inside it wouldn’t block any cameras . They would go around that section.

Just a quick update. I chickened out of doing the front windshield at all, not because of the possible interference with TSS but because of possible issues with insurance and liability in case of a major accident. Florida law says you cannot have anything below the AS-1 line on the windshield. While Llumar Air 80 film is basically clear, there have been cases where insurance adjusters and personal injury attorneys have used the fact that you have a "film" on your front windshield (in violation of Florida law) as a reason to deny a claim or find fault/liability in an accident, claiming your vision was obstructed. So I have an appointment in a couple of weeks to get the 4 windows and the rear windshield tinted to what FL law allows, and I will just continue to use my sun shade on the front.
