    I've just done my doors and it made a difference. The rear wall of my cab is bare. More deadening material or carpet back there is definitely on the long term list. Did both of yours come with carpet on the rear wall?

    Mine is a DLX, and from what I understand was more or less included for every trim after 98. But the 95.5-97 it depended on trim level, and some have a bare rear wall. That rear wall is a HUGE source of road noise.

    I never ordered it, thank goodness. Would have been impossible to recoup that money. And i sold the Wildernest about 2 months ago.

    So I sold the Wildernest, and the Tepui is back on the truck. I will be buying a GoFastCamper when I can talk myself into setting the $$$ aside.

    No changes to the truck in a while, but I did buy a new CSF radiator with the 18" tall core to start getting ready to build a front bumper. The rear will be getting a swing out from CBI or @Pelfreybilt , whenever they release theirs.

    Just come current wheeling shots;

    What happened? Did you ever finish the re-canvas? Mind if I ask how much you sold it for? I'd still like to get one one day. :cool:

    Nope, never ordered the new canvas. They were asking $1300 to do it, which is a good value for that much work.

    I sold it for $500, it had some fiberglass issues that I would have needed professional help with, and paint etc. The GFC retails for $5000, which would have been about my all in restoration budget for the Wildernest.

    I loved it. But it was just old. It would have met its end by my hand after probably just one season of wheeling on the back of Frankenstein. Id have destroyed the fiberglass.

    LT..yeah okay. But that is so worth it. Screw Mid travel. I can't go back now.

    then..

    13k

    and 4.5k

    But those are whole other rigs! haha

    And I have 2 RTTs. Even if I sold both Id have to pay like 3k for a GFC. Idk. When i go up there to see it myself maybe i'll change my mind.

    See, that's 2 trucks I don't need, and I don't want long travel on this truck. The GFC makes sense for me. ;)

    If I bother to do long travel, it'll be a 92-96 Bronco or reg cab short bed F150. 17" of travel out of a stock width truck? 3" internal bypass coilovers and rear shocks. It's not too much more money than a long travel Tacoma, and I don't need to buy glass.

    Current state. Pulling the passenger fender to swap with another truck that has a snorkel. I get a cheap snorkel and he gets a fender without a hole.

    Going to swap in the short core 2.4L radiator while I have it apart, probably.
