Good to know. Where did you get the replacement brackets?

 

It bolts to the frame as a replacement for the crush cans. It also has support brackets that bolt onto the sides.

 

Relentless Fabrication. I believe they may be part of their supports for winch bumpers but I just looked in their catalog and no longer see them as separate as I did when I bought. So you would need to contact them. Anyway they came as two that go on the outside of the frame, one on each side, but I thought it might be beneficial for a set for the inside of the frame as well so basically copied them in a thinner material and did a set on both sides but my version is kind of tight passing next to the radiator.

Another thing that could be done in addition to the brackets, or by themselves, would be to make a plate to go over the 3 bolts and weld it to the thin factory plate. Someone here was actually selling them but I do not have the link.
