If anyone know much about auto electrical maybe you can help me out.

I just installed my Warn VR8000 winch as per the manufacture instructions. I also have a Pioneer x920BT head unit that installed that gives me navigation, radio, and other cool features.

The problem is whenever I engage the winch (with truck engine running), even under no load, the Pioneer head unit shuts off and then a second later reboots and starts up. This repeats any time I engage the winch pulling in or out. I called Warn and they say the voltage drop should not be enough to trip the Pioneer head unit especially under no load, but who know what kind of safety feature is in that head unit.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.
