But I’d have a hard time trusting it, looks sketchy

 

It only pulls 1,000lbs, I'd rather have a come-along

 

agreed, but thats the style i was wondering about

 

I have a Warn Zeon 10s, that I purchased back in 2014 on a Christmas sale and it’s work perfect every time I needed it. I have had it on a Jeep JKUR, a GX470 and now my Tacoma

 

You’re right about morr not using a winch that often. Aside from the warn having a paltry 20 more feet of line, the clutch is also remote. They say on the hf site that the warn cannot be wired remote but I’m pretty sure there is a port for that on the top of the winch. And could it actually take a 100’ line?

 

Stitch has Smittybilt X20 Gen2 9500 w/ synthetic line. Love his winch. My buddy has one on his Jeep...two Winters ago we spent 9 1/2 hrs winching 5.5 miles into his cabin. After that day, I had no doubts about what winch Stitch was getting.
