Wind has started coming through my drivers side door on my 2nd gen, but everything seems ok. I dont know specifically what to check for, but the weather seals aren't cracked and are still properly anchored to the door and b pillar. Its also started raining here in CA a bit, so I checked to see if any water is leaking through the seal, and theres nothing. Has anyone else had similar issues?

It's strange, but actually theres no wind noise at all, just a really cold breeze obviously coming from outside and I can feel it coming through the back of the door.

Has somebody unlocked it with lockout tools? The air wedges that are used to open up a gap at the back of the door window frame can bend the door slightly. If that's the case, you just put your knee on the metal part of the door near the latch, grab the window frame near the top and yank back. Obviously, this is one of those cases where you yank gently, close the door and check, then do the same thing and yank a little harder, till the door fits right.

The wind noise on the Tacoma is a known issue that Toyota is aware of and has a Service Notice out . This is the problem the customer must take it in and they must diagnose that it is the door seal. They have replacement doors seals that are thicker at the top , then the Factory ones. I fixed mine with the posted TW forum by using dip tubing 3/8" inserted inside to top of door seal. This fixed a problem with air , whistle, noise at highway speeds with cross winds. This is documented and works. Good luck!

Update, check out TW discussion. '15 ST5 DCSB Wind Noise (SOLVED!!!!). Old Timer gives options and the irrigation tubing fixed my problem.

To my knowledge that has never been done, albeit I got the truck used. Nevertheless this just started and it seems to come and go which is strange

After looking through that discussion I suppose it's common on the a pillar. Next time I take the freeway and notice it coming from the B pillar, I'll check the A one as well. Looks like bending the door a tad is the solution

Please don't bend. $5 irrigation tubing from Lowe's at the top , inset through-existing hole in the door seal...if doesn't fix then pull it out....use spray lubricate and takes than 10-15 min tops.....I was only did drivers side ,but have enough to do all doors if needed...win win

If it needs to be bent, it will be obvious. If the window frame is sticking out farther that the adjacent frame, it needs to be bent.
