    Same here...

I'm going to try adding some sticky foam insulation right about where I'm squeezing in the video.

I have been told that Toyota is coming out with thicker door seals. High winds make the current rubber flap very rapidly at certain cross winds.

No idea when the TSB will be coming out.

I'm pretty sure I'm hearing this on my 17. Will def' let the dealer know at the first service. For now I' might try stuffing something in between the weather stripe to fill in the dead space.

I went to the dealer - they heard it and told me there was a window seal TSB coming out, and would contact me in the future... no idea how long it will be but it is super annoying.

I have a high pitch wind noise above 35 MPH and the other sound when the wind is blowing sideways.

As a "for now solution", if you guys haven't noticed...

Run the fresh air vent open. This pretty much makes the noise go away. I know it's getting cold out, but mix some heat in there and leave it open to shut it up.
Then... When Toyota either replaces the seals (or comes up with a bandaid solution like stuffing the seal), we can use whatever mode.

I am actually unaware of this said solution? I honestly have to ask how to achieve this when it's happening so I can test it. I have had this issue since day 1 and it likely explains why I have it some days vs others because I have hvac system set a certain way.

The dealership thinks I am crazy because I can't replicate it the couples of times it's been there, regardless of the sound clips I have recorded.

Perhaps this is why, the tech is switching the hvac on when he gets in it to something he likes and this won't allow him (or her) to experience it.

It's the recirculate button in the AC controls. Looks like a truck with a circular arrow on it.
Make sure the light is off and the noise will reduce or even stop.
Has worked on 2 tacos "for now"... YMMV.

I had the LCA TSB performed and it reduced 'one' of the high-speed howls.

The remaining howl I believe, is the driver door seal that needs to be replaced. The passenger door seal doesn't appear to make any noise, but perhaps that is because I rarely have a passenger use that door and the seals there might still be OK.

I downloaded a few of the videos above to play for my dealer - many thanks!

I find it interesting that it's only the drivers side seal being reported when in theory they should be of the exact same design. Describe it as a whistle and not a howl, it's really so different pitches.

Mine is mostly the driver's side, but both do it depending on the crosswind.

How often do you have a passenger in the truck?

How often do you have a driver in the truck?

Physical distance may explain a good chunk of that.

Exact same noise, exact same issue since 2005. My truck had it before, fixed with TSB.

Issue now carried over to the "all new" third gen....

Mines in the driver side only so far, but it only got 900miles on it. Will def try the vent trick though.

You would think that...however, my started very quickly and I thought perhaps the same thing, but at this point they both should be doing it.

Exactly what I had on my 2016 Limited on the drivers side. Took it to the dealer and they changed the door seal. Fixed the issue. The only wind noise now is when I blow a fart !!
