    Why does cruise control kill gas mileage so much? You would think that it would actually be better for gas mileage? :confused::annoyed:

    Constantly kicking down to accelerate and keep speed. I keep the throttle the same for the most part and pick up speed going down the hills then going up the hills I'll loose it again. Like a truck driver. I avg. almost 16 on 35s and 4.88s running about 70 all the way here.

    Yeah I try to do that too, but I can only drive with my right leg so long before it starts hurting. Still healing up.

    Manual trans helps a little bit, but then my left knee starts hurting.

    Man it sucks getting old!!!

    Probably, I brought my winter gear, but I'm already kind of regretting leaving the topper, however it took me way too much time to get the truck ready to roll and putting the topper on would have added another 20 minutes to an hour, plus since I do want to go on the technical trails I didn't really want extra 200 lb up that high if I could avoid it. But the real reason I left it, is because I was being lazy and didn't want to undo my toolbox put that to the side and have to walk the topper up the motorcycle ramp on the truck and then find the bolts and put them in etc etc
