[IMG]that’s pretty annoying. Same lengths atleast and maybe it’s a left and right for the part numbers?

Well I've learned the old saying is true "Never judge a book by its cover" so when I seen the springs, I trusted in the spring shop knows what there doing. They said they made the left spring 1/4" more arch and with a heavier over load spring-hunk of flat steel thing at the bottom. We shall see how thy perform in about 2 weeks. Oh they also said the took some arch out of both of them because the Tacoma is lighter and they diden't want it to sit to high in the back...I just need to find the time to hobble these in...

I heard the same from a shop when I was looking into new springs for mine. They said it was to compensate for everything heavy being on the left, fuel tank, driver and battery.

I ended up with a heavy duty set that are the same side to side though. Now it’s all stiff  I need to try pulling a leaf or two out still.

I'll let you know how the ride is. with the cap, the bed drawer and 2 20l jerry cans and 1 20l water plus some fire wood and camping gear I'm hoping it not ride stiff..

I have a cap and a bin of tools in the back but that’s all. I’d love some bed drawers one day though.

I'll drive this for a while b4 I comment on them but... 2"leaning to driver's side and the fuel tank is on empty . The spring shop and me decided to drive it for a week to see if anything changes then we'll see what to do.

Not sure if it’s the angle of the picture but it appears in the second picture that the main leaf looks to be “W” from the shackle if that makes sense.

Interesting. Hopefully they work out. I had a rough day with the truck too. Annoying when you have to do things twoce (or 5 times….)

My old springs looked similar to yours, I never seemed to have a problem with the ride but I’m not sure if they were symmetrical side to side of not.

My new packs sit flat with the weight of the truck, they have seven leaves. I thought that was an issue at first but it seems to be okay.
The company said a lot of people end up pulling a leaf or two to soften up the ride like I said.

maybe they will wear in or wear out enough to give you a softer ride without pulling a leaf....

I’ve thought about that too, I won’t have the time to pull a leaf any time soon so I can just keep an eye on them and see how they do.

It’s not a hateful ride, it was great towing. If I dropped a couple hundred pounds in the back it would be better right off the bat. Maybe the bed drawers would be enough if I find some good ones.

got the truck into the spring shop yesterday and they pulled the right spring to literally put it in a 100t press and bend it so to take some arc out. still sits about 1" higher on the right side. Ill wait to see if things settle.
