So I got this fridge for this wheeling season to try it out.

    20210405_123114[1].jpg

and to my surprise I forgot that the 12v outlet only comes on with the key. So on to finding out how to make it stay on and watched this video

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RdzaaTYfQY

so from the time I found the video and looked at it, went outside and pulled everything apart and did the mod it was less than 1hr. But lets call it 1 hour.

    20210408_110418[1].jpg

removing this panel is in the video
the important part is the relay
just took a piece of wood and wedged the contacts closed replaced the cap and all done

    Very nice,

Now just be careful with what you plug into the 12v plugs. As they are always live. I almost burnt my truck down with this mod.

12v USB power plugs that you charge your phone off of, are not meant to be left on 24/7. Be sure to remove them if you are not using them.

Ruined a battery, and almost my truck.

The Toyota factory locker seems to work good for me anyways. Yes its not an arb but it will do.
    What locker do you have?

Just the True Track. Definitely not the same but it’ll do in a pinch. Seems to work well with the ABS.

well got to work on part 2 or this mod. part 1 was the locker anytime. part 2 is the removing of the ADD, I just replaced the axle tube.
we not all that hard to do...
    this is the doner tube
    20210417_133640[1].jpg
hear is the original ADD and tube out

    20210418_104112[1].jpg

just checking them side by side to make sure

    20210418_104729[1].jpg

    then installing the fj tube

    20210418_115041[1].jpg

All in all this job was pretty easy the hardest part was doing it twice because i did not use silicone sealant, the first time... yes rookie mistake ... lol.
now I have the green 4wd and yellow lo lights flashing. :) hopefully that will be taken care of in about 2 weeks

very nice! Wasn’t too bad eh?

Lights are an easy fix as well. You can actually completely remove your 4x4 ecu as well and just by pass it completely. With the locker anytime mod (if you have a stock elocker) there will be no need for it.

    looking good!

also, I’ll try and dig up the blank switch part number so you can get rid of your 4x4 switch lol.

I'm planning to do a gear change in the future so I got then fj case with the 3.90 gears so I can reuse the carrier. Don't ever want to run a front locker.
    Not on this truck.
