Shortly after changing the transfer case chain it was a knocking noise that developed in the driveline somewhere. I ended up changing the hanger bearing and the noise is all gone but I can't believe it was the hanger bearing I can't find anything wrong with the old one.

So the brake cables are the correct ones that I got from rock auto. The listing is for regular cab but they fit my access cab. The location of some of the mounting brackets can't be used dose not line up to the original locations and my parking brakes still don't work properly.

These are the clamps I used to attach this ford ranger cap. The cap is too small width wise but it can work.

yep one winter without a cap and it was bad. My shovels, salt and everything else was frozen then wet then repeat:).
This winter I made my self a secret weapon. lol. I put wheels on my scoop! thats not a crack its crazy glue to keep the axle ( some round stock) from turning.

And the cap is begining to be a project:frusty: painted the boards as the cap leaks a bit:)

I like the snow shovel. Good idea. Are you running the plow again this year?

I swear every cap leaks unless you permentenlty glue it to the truck. Even then the bed isn’t seal proof with the cubbies and stuff

If I do run the plow this year I'll make sure to use rear wheel drive as much as I can and I have to make a.proper plow mount too. Last year I just bolted it to what ever was convenient and it bent the down instead of staying level. Either way looking forward to the snow.... Giggidy.lol

Some long over due diesel heater housekeeping finally got done. Last trip the exhaust made a hole in the bottom of the case. So make an acess cover and some feet for the case. And test. After 4 years runs like a champ. :)

So other than the crappy winter paint job she's good enough for the racks I go out with.

Well from one project to the next.
I started a "winter in my spare time cheep" aux. Battery set up. Right now I have no plans, parts or idea. I'm going to make it as it comes and use what ever I have or can get.
