Thanks, So this is what's happening.
I have some parts for a u bolt flip. literally buried in the garage.
but I'm running a 2" lift block so can't use it. because the u bolts are not long enough
Then I found out if you do the shackle flip it will give you 2"'s of lift so no block needed
so to run my u bolt flip, I'm going to do a shackle flip, and of course then I might need shocks
and i'm going to flip them upside down to match the other flips:homer: doh....

all kidding aside I'm hoping it will allow the rear to flex more and as for the 63's... one day but for now there's too much on the list....

Today"s events. in picture form:) and my welding was horrible today, I found out later something was blocking the shielding gas in the nozzel, but anywho it's done, the ride seems a bit smoother and I did remove the 2" lift block and the truck has the same ride height give or take an inch or so.

So my rear shocks were toast.
I set up a temporary solution until I can get a set of shocks. It's temporary so I can still use the truck. Lol. I've done worse in the past.... :)

Great job on the shackle flip. Think that will be the route I go down the road with 63’s and a shock relocation.

By the way did you do a body mount relocation? I think I saw you posted something about that, but I may not be remembering correctly.

Thanks the shackle flip was not that bad at all.
As for a body mount yes it's the all pro one. It's holding up pretty well so far.

oh yea, forgot that too. the sliders "outriggers to frame" pieces if thats what they are called, the one's in the front had to be cut off so there is no support for the front of the sliders. its easy to re brace it but I'm just lazy...

if i had to do it again instead of cutting like 6" of bracing off I'd cut like 1" or enough to just clear the body mount and then just go from there.

My sliders are welded and I’m also lazy lol. Thinking if I can make it as close and tight to the bolt location it should be enough clearance.
