Hello, I had on some window deflectors and they had been ripped off, any advice on how to take the adhesive off without pealing the paint? Thanks in advance.

I third this, however it will take time. I spent a good couple of hours spraying and rubbing to get my 15 year old adhesive off.

    I now have "in-channel" ones

edit: leave it in the sun to warm up and use a plastic razor or putty blade to get under it. you will still need to use the spray but can get some off if it's pliable

AVS, same as the stick-on ones. It's an extra number for the in-channel (2-piece set)

    AVS192925 (in-channel)

    AVS92925 (stick-on)

Do those reduce the wind noise very much?

not really, they are mainly for leaving the windows cracked when raining to let fresh air in

Thanks for the reply! I'd forgotten about driving in the rain (it never rains on the Western Slope...)

You cannot really get the adhesive off with Goo Gone if the that black stuff is in the way. First task is to remove as much of the black stuff as you can.

Heat Gun, or a blow dryer on high will soften the adhesive. Give it time to work, section by section, peel the black stuff away if you can, plastic scraper if necessary.

For the remaining adhesive residue, use GooGone on a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

Lots of patience. And don’t plan on using your thumbnails for a couple days after you finish.

Some good advice here on using heat then an adhesive remover. I caution against some of the recommendations, though.

Please don't use Goof Off. It is a little too strong for car paint and can make a mess.
    https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/63304-goof-off-will-ruin-your-paint.html

Also, I'd avoid the Magic Erasers, too. They are a lot more abrasive than you realize.
