I had the wind grab my door as I was opening it the other day. It swung back hard, and at first seemed like it was closing kind of funny.

That seems to have resolved itself, but the window now goes down about half way before slowing down and stuttering to a stop.

I can hold down the switch and get the window all the way down and back up. I'm trying not to do that to often as I don't want to burn out the motor.

I'm going to pull the door panel off and try to figure out whats happening. I think something is bent.

Question is, any ideas what I should look for?

Depending on how hard the wind smack was, you may also have a bent window track. Check that, along with the door check piece. I found this out the hard way--of course.

Good call, I think you're probably right, I'll get a chance to check it out Thursday to confirm. Any advice on making the repair or where to find a part number for the track?
